What the Pro add-on lets you do
Build a membership site for a company, association, or chapter-based organization where each operator works only with assigned members, posts and membership changes move through approval, and notices reach the intended audience. CSV invitations keep email verification in the registration path.
Add only the extensions you need. Add User Profile Fields Pro to use hierarchical departments, chapters, and membership types for operator scope and audiences. Add Freeform Login for a branded login screen and passkey sign-in.
Review before publication
- Configure as many as five ordered reviewers
- Keep the published version visible until final approval
- Record rejection reasons, cancellation, and history
Delegate without granting the whole site
- Assign the whole site or explicit membership classifications
- Separate review, delivery, and invitation permissions
- Apply scope to member management and content operations
Deliver notices to the intended audience
- Bundle 1–20 published notices into one email
- Schedule all-member or classification-based delivery
- Recheck status, consent, audience, and authority at send time
Invite a prepared member list safely
- Preview UTF-8 CSV before committing
- Detect duplicate rows and existing accounts
- Continue through email-verified registration
Real screens for real operational checkpoints
The screenshots below show the current English member-management interface. Each checkpoint is intentionally explicit: operators see the affected people, content, and scope before they commit the action.
01 / SCOPE
Limit each operator to assigned members
Administrators assign site-wide or classification-based scope. The same scope is checked for member changes, approvals, and notice delivery.
02 / MEMBER WORKSPACE
Let members follow their own submission
The workspace collects the member’s drafts, private attachments, approval requests, and history. New drafts still use the standard WordPress editor.
03 / DELIVERY & INVITATION
Confirm recipients before sending or inviting
Notice delivery and CSV invitations both include a confirmation step. A CSV import invites people into verified registration instead of silently creating active accounts.
Requirements and product boundaries
- WordPress 6.6+
- PHP 8.1+
- Latest supported atshift Members free plugin
- Single-site WordPress; multisite is not supported
atshift User Profile Fields Pro is optional for core approval, delivery, invitation, and workspace features. It is required when you use its hierarchical classifications for operator scope, audiences, or membership-change approval.
Pro fails closed when a required classification integration is unavailable. Saved scope remains in place, and affected operations stay unavailable until the integration is restored.
