Roles, capabilities, and scope
| Capability | Purpose |
|---|
atshme_review | Review posts and membership-change requests within scope. |
atshme_send_notices | Build and schedule permitted notice campaigns. |
atshme_import_members | Preview CSV data and send verified member invitations. |
Administrators receive these capabilities on activation. Other operators need an explicit grant and, when classifications are used, an explicit scope. Post-publishing capability alone does not grant Members Pro operations.
Shortcodes
| Shortcode | Output and access |
|---|
[atshme_workspace] | Shows the signed-in member’s posts, private attachments, approval requests, and history. Place it on a members-only page. |
[atshme_notice_preferences] | Lets the signed-in member opt in or out of notice email. The initial state is opt-out. |
Shortcodes do not grant access by themselves. The current member, post audience, membership state, and Pro availability are checked for every operation.
Operational limits
- Approval stages
- Up to five ordered reviewers.
- Notice bundle
- 1–20 published notices per campaign.
- Delivery audience
- Up to 1,000 active members; 20 messages per worker run through WP-Cron.
- CSV invitations
- UTF-8, 200 KB, and 100 rows maximum. email is required.
- WordPress topology
- Single-site only. Multisite is not supported.
Accepted delivery means wp_mail accepted the message for transport; it does not prove inbox delivery. A message left in sending state is not automatically resent because the result is unknown.
Temporary data and retention
| Data | Retention |
|---|
| Delivery history | 30 days |
| Invitation profile initial values | 30 minutes |
| Unconfirmed previews | 10 minutes |
| Completed approval requests | Scheduled cleanup after 90 days |
Active requests and current membership assignments are retained. Delivery history for a deleted member is removed during account closure.
Integration contract and boundaries
- atshift User Profile Fields Pro owns hierarchical classifications; Members reads and changes them only through the supported integration API.
- Classification hierarchy does not imply inherited permission or audience membership.
- Classification-change approval, expiration-based membership, and branch-operator auto-assignment for invitations are not included.
- Direct S3, Google Drive, Dropbox, or NAS-connection UI is not included. Private storage uses the free plugin’s configured server-side store.
- Recurring digest generation and dedicated external mail-service adapters are not included.
